The Last Of Us Part II Sells 4 Million In First Three Days

The Last of Us Part II, as I'm sure many are aware was released recently, has already grossed over 4 million sold copies over the course of just 36 hours. This is a PlayStation 4 exclusive by legendary studio Naughty Dog, who have outdone themselves, as this is more than four times the sales of the previous installment.

This news was provided by Sony Entertainment themselves to CNET, and is quickly garnering  attention as breaking the two previous early records sales by a fairly large margin, with God of War having sold 3.1 million in a similar amount of time and Spider-Man previously boasting 3.3 million.

There's something to be said about Naughty Dog rolling out yet another smash hit at a time when many of us are stuck at home and can put on those old shoes from our time playing The Last of Us. The writer-director Neil Druckmann stated during an interview with GQ that the studio is already looking ahead with plans of either another installment or something else entirely.

There has been confirmation that this blockbuster of a game will be coming out on the PS5 when the console launches this holiday season.
