Celebration Shows Off 'The Mandalorian' Season 3 Teaser
Earlier at Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm released a teaser trailer for The Mandalorian season 3. The trailer gives nothing away at first glance but breaking down the excitement you can see some key characters and locations that might hint at the plot for the season. We took a look to see what the future holds for Din Djarin and Grogu in the new season.
The first thing in the trailer is The Armorer scolding Din Djarin for removing his helmet and reminding him that he is no longer a Mandalorian. Although, this takes place at a different location than when the conversation takes place the first time. While the Armorer's monologue continued we see Din in a new world that looks to be in ruins. Following this, Katie Sackhoff's Bo Katan is sitting on a throne arguing with Din over his cult abandoning Mandalore long ago. If we had to hazard a guess it looks like the world of Kalevala, Clan Kryze's home.
A quick screen wipe later reveals a new world, and Grief Karga embraces the Mandalorian and says he can't believe it is Din. We see several Mandalorians beating their chest. Grief Karga then appears to be in a duel with an unknown person. Perhaps the most curious appearance is of Dr. Pershing, the scientist who had drawn Grogu's blood for an experiment in season 1. This could mean this season will involve more of the cloning subplot from season 1. From the looks of things, this season of The Mandalorian is shaping up to be the most interesting so far. Sadly the teaser was not released to the general public, however, some people at Celebration filmed it and leaked it online if you know where to look.
