First Photos From 'Indiana Jones 5!'
After all these years of delays due to story and even a pandemic, the untitled Indiana Jones 5 is finally filming for its summer 2022 release! Director James Mangold stepped into the director's chair, replacing Steven Spielberg, and cast some of the best working actors out there to appear in roles such as Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, and Boyd Holbrook to the ensemble. The legendary Harrison Ford is back to portray Indiana Jones for the last time.
The first set of photos gave viewers a taste of what the new locations will look like. But now there’s a new photo of Harrison in the iconic gear of Indiana Jones himself.
Twitter user IJ Adventure Outpost shared a new image of Ford on the set of Indiana Jones 5, donning the archeologist's famous costume. Ford can be seen with producer Kathleen Kennedy. Check it out below:
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail has posted some interesting pictures from a night shoot from Indiana Jones 5.(BEWARE OF POSSIBLE SPOILERS IN THE LINK.)
Plot details are top secret, and with the history of the Indy franchise, it will be fun to speculate Henry Jones Jr’s. latest (and final?) adventure. As much as I am looking forward to Mr. Ford being back in the leather jacket and fedora, it will be very interesting to see how the film handles a possibly 70-something-year-old Indiana Jones at the twilight of his life. Harrison Ford is also in his late 70s, so there are physical limitations. Keep in mind that the last installment, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, displayed Indiana Jones as a senior citizen with mixed results. We’ll see how Mangold will put his spin on the aged iconic hero.
