Marvel Will Be Making An Epic Return To D23 This Year

“D 23 Expo. The ultimate Disney fan event.”

As if the San Diego Comic Con announcements weren’t enough, Kevin Feige and the team at Marvel will be holding some exciting panels at this year's D23 Expo in September. Say what you will of phase four, but one thing everyone can agree on is Marvel fails to disappoint when taking the stage at events such as this. Right off the heels of announcing two Avengers movies, Feige will take the stage again just two months after to bring some more details on the upcoming movies and shows. Although that panel will get the most eyes, that's not the only panel being held by Marvel. Here’s a list of what’s in store for Marvel Entertainment’s entire D23 presentation.

To kick off Marvel’s return to D23 they will be holding a panel called “DRAW Live” that will take you step-by-step into drawing some of their legendary heroes and villains. This panel will take place on both September 9th as well as the 10th and will be headed by Marvel’s Director of Themed Entertainment, Brian Crosby.

Up next is the heavy hitter, the one everyone has been waiting for: The Hall D23 presentation. This will take place September 10th and be presented by Kevin Feige, the Chief Creative Officer for Marvel. This panel is said to have behind the scenes looks at not only the series coming to Disney+ but also upcoming theatrical releases. With appearances from filmmakers to celebrity talent, fans will be treated to more details on what is to come for Marvel Studios. With potential for new announcements and trailers for upcoming shows and movies, there is hope we get some more reveals to finish off that phase six slate!

That’s not all they have planned for the expo, to celebrate 60 years of the world’s favorite wall-crawler they have dedicated a panel to honor one of the most iconic comic book heroes of all time, Spider-Man. It will be spearheaded by Executive Editor Nick Lowe, as well as Editor-In-Chief C.B. Cebulski, and takes place September 10th. On the schedule for this one, we have a look back at the past 60 years of Spider-Man stories, as well as a look into the future of them!

Last but certainly not least is an opportunity for fans in attendance of the Expo to get autographs from two extremely important figures when it comes to Marvel Comics. While this is only for fans there at the event it’s still an awesome chance to meet the people who have a hand in some of your favorite current comic books!
