New Photos Of Owen Wilson And Tom Hiddleston Have Surfaced From The Filming Of 'Loki' Season 2

Loki from the Disney+ series

Loki simply did not have the aptitude to be a very good villain. Fans found him to be far too likable and relatable for that. Season 1 of Loki allowed for this complicated character to realize his identity as that of the classic anti-hero and fans loved it. Filming for the second season of Loki is underway and fans who sat on the edge of their chairs during the cliffhanger Season 1 finale are eagerly waiting for Loki to return. A tiny taste of photos of the two main characters was shared this week on Twitter allowing the imaginations of MCU fans all over the internet to run wild.

The vehicle models behind Hiddleston and Wilson in the photos from a Twitter post look to be from the late 1960s to early 1970s, which has fans asking where on the Sacred Timeline are these guys and what variants of Loki and Mobius will fans have the pleasure of seeing?

The Direct reports that snapshots of additional scenes have been shared via Twitter of Loki and Mobius dressed in black-tie attire in roughly 1974 with London as a backdrop. One photo captures a shiny red double-decker bus.

This collection of photos suggests that fans can expect these two to partner up again, perhaps jumping through history to fix the crimes committed by the Time Variance Authority.

One of the highlights of Season 1 was watching these two galivants traveling through time like a couple of detectives in order to find the variant hiding in apocalyptic events to cheat the Sacred Timeline. Naturally, we learned that the culprit was none other than the female variant of Loki named Sylvie, and she turned out to be just as likable and relatable as her handsome male counterpart.

Sylvie killing the variant of Kang the Conqueror, who turns out to be the secret leader of the Time Variance Authority, sets off a series of chaotic events. This left fans wondering where she is going in Season 2 as well as where time will pick up for Mobius and Loki.

There is no release for Season 2 just yet, but Loki promises to be a fun adventure for fans to look forward to.
