There have not been many updates about the Fallout Amazon Prime Video show after Bethesda’s initial announcement. We know that Jonathan Nolan is one of the showrunners and that Walter Goggins and Ella Purnell will be part of the cast. However, there has been another major update concerning the show and even some more alarming set leaks as well.

Filming for the first season of the Fallout television show appears to have wrapped up in early 2023. There was a photo of a Vault 33 jacket that was reportedly sent out as a gift to those who worked on the show. This means we can reasonably see a trailer for the show this summer and possibly hear about the series premiering before the end of 2023.

There were more exciting leaked pictures from the sets. Below, you can see the picture of the interior of a vertibird. It looked right out of the video game itself with a minigun, chairs for the pilots, and enough space for a few men in suits of power armor. We know from previously leaked photos of a suit of power armor that the show will involve the Brotherhood of Steel knights, which correlated nicely with this vertibird.

The next picture from the set is an amazing recreation of a Red Rocket Gas Station with the same gas prices as in the game. As a fan of the games, I am very excited about how the way sets turned out and how perfectly they match the game. There is even a Power Armor crafting station by the Red Rocket Gas Station! Another leaked fan clip has shown a dog laying down that looks to be the same breed as Dogmeat. The player’s loyal companion appeared in both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 and it looks like he will be in the television show too.

Another interesting leaked photo is of a cue card that says “Atrium Ritual B.” Could this be a clue that the television show will show one of the experiments conducted on the unknowing people who signed up to be in the Vaults? The amount of leaked Vault sets that we have seen and how they are all so different could indicate that the show will depict multiple different Vaults. Exploring the Vaults is integral to the game it would be thrilling to see these Vaults come to life.

The next photo that caught my attention was a photo of a worn Pip-Boy. It may look a little rough, but its screen appears to be game-accurate. It is as if you are in the game looking at your Pip-Boy.

To me, the most revealing photo is below, and it gives a MAJOR clue as to the location of the Fallout television show. There is a New California Republic (NCR) flag in the background! This seems to confirm that Vault 33 is on the West Coast unless the NCR has expanded more east. In Fallout lore, the NCR’s territories covered southern California, Oregon, and Nevada. While I think they may have expanded into the wastelands east of Nevada further than they did in Fallout: New Vegas, I do not think the NCR has made it to the East Coast just yet.

The upcoming Fallout series looks to be following multiple people from different parts of the United States converging together by the end of the season. This is clear in the set photos, some of which are out in the open and others are clearly located on the East Coast, specifically in New York. These photos point to the Brotherhood of Steel and the NCR being in the Fallout show with the storyline possibly depicting a major conflict between these two factions. Personally, I would be fine with seeing the powerful Brotherhood of Steel stronghold on the East Coast from Fallout 4 and meeting with a powerful and expanding NCR from Fallout: New Vegas. Woven between the two powerhouses, we can then experience the craziness and backwardness of the Vaults and their many experiments. Only time will tell and hopefully, there will be a trailer soon!
