Jenna Ortega’s potential involvement further raises the film as she stars in the upcoming Scream reboot. She spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about working with Burton saying, “It’s been quite an insane experience. I’ve been lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with an iconic director who just so happens to be one of the sweetest directors I’ve worked with and also the most detail-oriented.”

At the time of the piece, neither Warner Bros nor Ortega’s representatives have publicly commented on the potential casting. CAA, Gilbertson Entertainment, and Jackoway Austen represent Jenna Ortega.
