The name "Toys For Bob" might seem familiar to anyone who is a fan of Crash Bandicoot or Skylanders, as the name has made itself famous for raising the bar of quality when it comes to remakes and sequels. Having been publishing games under Activision, the game studio has slingshotted PlayStation properties, such as Spyro and Crash Bandicoot, back into the limelight.

With entries such as the Spyro Reignited TrilogyCrash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, and even assisting with some of the more recent Call of Duty games, it's not hard to see why Toys For Bob has become something of a household name for many gamers.

Since the video game industry is rife with layoffs, crunch times, mergers, and many other such scandals, it's not unheard of for game studios to suffer under their publishers' corporate decisions. This, more often than not, leads to studios dissolving, leaving many talented game designers with little more than a bittersweet reminder of games they had helped create.

Fortunately, Toys For Bob has thrown off its corporate shackles and unfurled its wings, ready to take flight into the world of independent game development! In a blog post on their website, toysforbob.com, studio heads Paul Yen and Avery Lodato celebrate their past achievements, as well as their evolution from a small, unknown company to the impressive, high-quality studio it is today.

The studio heads express their excitement for new upcoming developments and even tease more potential partnerships with Microsoft. While no new announcements for any of Toys For Bob's newest ideas are on the horizon for the time being, it is still an exciting prospect to see how a devoted game studio can keep pushing the envelope for game development.

Only time will tell just how well these prospects go, but for now, we wish Toys For Bob the best of luck for the future, and we can't wait to see what they come up with for the future!
