A 'Subnautica' LEGO Set Reaches Enough Supporters And Is Considered For Release
The hit game Subnautica had players surviving in a harsh, unforgiving underwater world. You scrounge for resources, find blueprints, and try to avoid the dangerous plant and animal life around you in a bid to find your way off of the world and back home. The game received a sequel Below Zero, and a third game is confirmed for sometime in 2024. Until then, we might have another set of blueprints to look at.
The sire LEGO Ideas has received over ten thousand supporters for a 2,991 Lego set for the Aurora, the ship the player was on that crash landed on the hostile planet. The proposed set would be 12.5" tall and 22.5" long, with a detailed interior as well. So far, nothing has been released to confirm that the set will go forward. According to OG Brick Studio:
“Not only is it a perfect display item for any Subnautica fan, it is a fantastic build that is incredibly enjoyable to put together with fun techniques used to create what you see before you."
Whether we’ll see that new set is unconfirmed, but the high level of backers has made LEGO developers take the proposal very seriously. We might even see it before we see the next Subnautica game.
