Percy Jackson and the Olympians is beefing up its cast for Season 3 of the hit Disney+ series. Actors Holt McCallany, David Constabile, and Jesse L. Martin have joined the cast of the series in recurring roles. McCallany has been picked to portray Atlas, the Bearer of Heaven, and the father of Zeus. Atlas will serve as the primary antagonist and stir up trouble for the show’s main characters, and he’s set to appear in six episodes of Season 3. McCallany has appeared in Mindhunter, The Iron Claw, and Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.

In addition, David Constabile will portray Dr. Thorn, the human form of a mythological character from the Percy Jackson book series. Constabile is known for roles in Billions, Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul. Jesse L. Martin joins the cast as Frederick Chase, the mortal father of Annabeth Chase. Martin was recently seen in NBC’s The Irrational, but his long career includes roles in The X-Files, Law & Order, Smash, The Flash, and more. Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ third season is currently in production in Vancouver, Canada, and the show’s second season is streaming on Disney+ and is set to conclude next month. The show’s first season performed so well that a second and third season were greenlit immediately. As of now, there’s no official release date for Season 3, but it is likely to premiere in December 2026, following the show’s successful trend of holiday season premieres. Percy Jackson and the Olympians is streaming on Disney+.
