Writers and producers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit have recently signed a deal with Disney. Fans are excited to learn that at least one of their upcoming projects will be for Lucasfilm. It is currently unknown which of the Lucasfilm properties these two will be part of, but whatever project they end up on, it will be done extremely well. The Star Wars franchise is huge with many new stories being told every year, but Star Wars is not the only Lucasfilm intellectual property. Other viable choices could include the Willow and Indiana Jones franchises as well.

Hernandez and Samit have known each other since college and have had a lot of success working together. They are thrilled about this latest endeavor:

“We’re so excited to expand our creative partnership with 20thTelevision Animation and ABC Signature. Working with Marci Proietto and Chris Cikowski as well as Jonnie Davis and Tracy Underwood has been a dream come true. We hope we can be together forever, or at least until the kids go to college.”
