'Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny Is Amazing According To Steven Spielberg

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is set for theatrical release on June 30 after its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.  With Harrison Ford going on the record indicating that this is the last time that he will be playing the character audiences have now learned that Steven Spielberg has already seen the film.

Spielberg indicated that he saw a screening of the film with Bob Iger and other Disney executives and after watching he said “Everybody loved the movie. It’s really, really a good Indiana Jones film. I’m really proud of what Jim has done with it.” He also added “When the lights came up I just turned to the group and said, Damn! I thought I was the only one who knew how to make on of these.”

Steven Spielberg launched the Indiana Jones franchise in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark.  This story was co-created by George Lucas and three other sequels were created in the following years.

Indiana and the Dial of Destiny takes place in late 1960 as the famed archeologist is drawn back into an adventure to stop the reemergence of the Nazis.  This will be the first Indiana Jones film since Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released in 2008.
