Marvel’s Newest Digital Series ‘Love Unlimited’ Is A Romance Anthology of Your Favorite Heroes

Love means never having to say, “I’m sorry…” because in this series, it means having to say, “I’m super sorry.” Courtesy of Marvel Comics for all those hopeless romantics out there, Marvel’s Love Unlimited series is a weekly digital anthology available on the Marvel Unlimited application. These romantic shorts filled with will-they or won’t-they moments are exclusively being told in Marvel’s infinity comics format. Marvel’s vertical comics line that’s crafted for scrolling on mobile devices and PC.

Love Unlimited will feature fan-favorite Marvel superheroes and their complicated yet meet-cute-worthy love stories. The series has officially kicked off last Thursday, June 9th, with the first of a six-part Kamala Khan-centered romance in Ms. Marvel & Red Dagger. An exploration into the pair’s romantic chemistry, this Ms. Marvel and Red Dagger-focused storyline takes a look into longings of the heart, as the two heroes who’ve kissed, have yet to learn each other’s real-life identities.

[There’s] a lot of yearning! This [arc] puts Ms. Marvel and Red Dagger in each other's paths while trying to chase down the same villain,” said writer Nadia Shammas in a Marvel exclusive regarding what reader’s should expect about the series. “The last time they saw each other, things ended awkwardly and were unresolved. That tension, that push-pull, is totally the heart of this dynamic. Will they deny the feelings that are already there? Can they make that final leap? Read to find out.”

X Loves Of Wolverine

Wolverine’s healing factor has saved him from every bruise, scrape, and injury you can imagine. Yet the one thing his mutant ability could never heal: is his broken heart. Finally, Wolverine takes a leap and pursues the biggest romance of his longstanding life, taking a leap of faith to hopefully repair that unmendable wound in his chest cavity where love was supposed to be. Written by Sean Kelley McKeever, with art by Diogenes Neves, and edits by Mark Basso.

Hulkling & Wiccan

A continuation of the Hulking & Wiccan: Possibilities comic, this series sees Hulkling and Wiccan still heartbroken from an alternate reality where they fell in love with other people. But when Hulkling’s alternate-reality ex shows up at the door, things get a little complicated. Especially, as Goebig the space pirate requests for help at that very same time. Written by Josh Rujillo, with art by Tokitokoro, and edited by Alanna Smith.
