Official ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Soundtrack Releases Monday
The official soundtrack to the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series releases on all digital platforms Monday June 27 according to Film Music Reporter. The soundtrack’s main composer Natalie Holt, who is credited for 23 of the album's 31 tracks is a big fan of John Williams, did the lion's share of the work. John Williams, however, composed the main theme of the show. Williams' compositions, including the Oscar-winning score for the original Star Wars, has been synonymous with the franchise. Williams came out of a brief retirement to compose music for the titular character Obi-Wan Kenobi, a character that Williams had not composed a theme for previously.
Williams' music for the show is the first track and clocks in at 4 minutes, 7 seconds. The other composer with credits on the album, William Ross, has adapted Williams’ Obi-Wan theme to other pieces on the soundtrack.

Statements from Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy suggest that there is a possibility of a second season for Obi-Wan. While Holt has received mixed reviews for her work on the show, there is no reason to suggest she would not return as the lead composer once again.
