From the iconic Evil Dead to the MCU’s first horror, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, Sam Raimi has continuously proven he’s amongst the greatest in horror. So it is no surprise that horror fanatics can’t help but jolt up in excitement whenever he is mentioned in the headlines. Prepare to jolt up again as Raimi’s next project has been revealed.

Once again, teaming up with Hammerstone Studios, the company behind the recent hit horror Barbarian, Raimi Productions, is set to jointly produce their next project. Don’t Move will be about a woman running and fighting for her life against a murderer after being injected with a paralytic agent. The film will be directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, who previously directed episodes of Sam Raimi’s anthology series 50 States of Fright, and written by T.J. Cimfel and David White.

Speaking on the project, Raimi said:

“Alex and the team at Hammerstone as well as our friends at Capstone are the ideal production partners as we bring this compelling and twisted tale to light. I am delighted to collaborate again with our co-directors Adam and Brian on this incredibly frightening and tense story full of so many twists and turns - it will deliver a fantastic horror punch to the audience!”

Aside from the directors, producers, and writers, little has been revealed about the project thus far. With no release or production window, audiences may have to wait a while to see this unique idea come to fruition. Until then, viewers can look forward to the two companies’ next film, Boy Kills World, when it premieres next year.
