2024 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for content on Disney+! The company recently announced next year’s upcoming projects to be released. The variety of content is extensive, ranging from documentaries to general entertainment to popular studio-specific pieces and more. Some of these have a specified release date, and some are just labeled with the 2024 release season. If any have been previously announced, this serves as a new confirmation that they are still on schedule.

The highly anticipated Marvel series Echo will hit Disney+ on January 10, 2024, with all episodes released at once. The National Geographic series A Real Bug’s Life is releasing on January 24, 2024. Queens is also a soon-to-be-released project that is looking to come out on the platform on March 5, 2024; National Geographic will be streaming it on their channel the day prior.

Some of the upcoming releases haven’t yet been assigned a specific release date, though they are confirmed for 2024. On the Star Wars front, Star Wars: The Acolyte and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew are in this group. Marvel Studios has several projects coming; Agatha: Darkhold Diaries and the animated series X-Men '97 are both aiming for a release next year. A new cartoon, Disney Junior’s Ariel, is also on the horizon.

A healthy handful of cartoons will be returning for another season in the coming year. Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Monsters at Work are returning for a second season. Another Marvel project, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends is coming back for its third season, as is Mickey Mouse Funhouse. Finally, SuperKitties is coming back for a second season too.

There is a range of region-specific content as well, as with any new season; keep an eye on your account to see what’s available. The basic subscription option with ads for Disney+, Disney+ Basic, costs $7.99 per month, while the tier without ads is $13.99 per month. There is also an option to combine your plan with Hulu for an overall monthly rate of $9.99. There are many options to choose from while looking forward to the new year!
