2024 will bring the streaming platform Tubi into a new, exciting era.  According to Variety, a deal was recently struck between the platform and Warner Bros. Discovery for specific DC content streaming rights, some already available and some coming in the new year.  From live-action to animated, and film to series, here’s what is coming to Tubi and what’s already there.

The upcoming lineup is hefty; The Batman (2022), Wonder Woman (2017) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), The Suicide Squad (2021), Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020), Aquaman (2018), Black Adam (2022), and Green Lantern (2011) are among the DC films coming to the platform.  Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is also in the lineup, hitting the platform a bit earlier on December 31, 2023.  Adam Lewinson, Tubi’s chief content officer, explained, “The addition of recent blockbuster movies and fan-favorite series from the DC library is a monumental offering for Tubi viewers.”

While the wait persists, there is a fair bit of DC content already on the platform.  Batman (1943), Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Son of Batman (2014), and several other films are currently available.  Among the many DC series that exist, Gotham, Batgirl, Birds of Prey, Swamp Thing, and Krypton are also on the platform.

From the non-DC side, some of the upcoming content includes People’s Court, Annabelle (2014), Doctor Sleep (2019), Blade: The Series, and several Friday installments.  More content may be announced as 2024 progresses.  The live channels portion of the platform was also addressed.  Warner Bros. Discovery agreed to expand their agreement over FAST channels, adding 10 new channels.  They are continuing the previous agreement involving 13 other channels as well; the content covers a lot, ranging from several crime channels to ghost hunting to baking, and many things in between.
