Anyway, we’re back! Last week we caught up with Mulder and Scully, took a seat right over there with Chris Hansen (not like that), met an aging pickpocket, and, you know, saw Santa kill fools. This week we got The Avengers and a bunch of other people. Mostly Avengers! Let’s get right into it!

Starring Dakota Johnson (Materialists), Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway (The Odyssey), and Josh Hartnett (Oppenheimer), Verity hits theaters on October 2nd. 

Rogue Trooper (Dir. Duncan Jones)

Based on the cult comic strip, witness the newest film from the director of Moon and Source Code! 19 is a 'Genetic Infantryman,' who finds himself the sole survivor of an invasion force. Desperate to track down the traitor who sold him and his comrades out, the super soldier is accompanied by three killed-in-action squad mates, whose personalities have been stored in his gun, helmet and rucksack. Starring Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk), Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Doomsday), Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring), Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows: The Series), Jemaine Clement (What We Do in the Shadows: The Movie), and Jack Lowden (Slow Horses), Rogue Trooper will premiere at TIFF next month, with a wider release expected in the future.
