Hey there, dear reader! Welcome to a brand new episode of A Trip to the Trailer Park! Last week, we took a trip to the wide open ocean, ran into some dinosaurs, were welcomed to a forgotten island, and reunited with Jerry Maguire. This week, it was trailers-on-trailers-on-trailers! Trailers for movies both large and small came out, which means we as film fans are eating insanely good! Enough talk, let’s dive in!

Supergirl (Dir. Craig Gillespie)

After celebrating her 23rd birthday, Kara Zor-El and her dog Krypto find themselves on an unexpected journey. After meeting a young girl named Ruthye Marye Knoll, Kara must now protect her against a powerful enemy. Starring Milly Alcock, Eve Ridley, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Jason Momoa, Supergirl flies into theaters on June 26th.

I Love Boosters (Dir. Boots Riley)

Visionary director Boots Riley (Sorry to Bother You) returns with his long-awaited sophomore feature film. Centered on a group of boosters called the Velvet Gang, led by a woman named Corvette (played by Keke Palmer). Boosters are a group of thieves who steal clothes from high-fashion stores and resell them at retail prices to marginalized communities. Expected to feature the same sci-fi insanity and timely social commentary as Riley’s previous work, I Love Boosters stars Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour P aige, Poppy Liu, Eiza González, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore. I Love Boosters breaks into theaters on May 22nd.

Masters of the Universe (Dir. Travis Knight)

From the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker behind Kubo and the Two Strings and Bumblebee comes the long-awaited return of an iconic hero to the big screen! Adam Glenn is a prince from a faraway world who was sent to Earth for his own protection. Determined to save the kingdom of Eternia, Adam must team up with a warrior named Teela and her adoptive father, Man-At-Arms, to take down an evil sorcerer known as Skeletor. Starring Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, Alison Brie, and Jared Leto, Masters of the Universe transports into theaters on June 5th.

Backrooms (Dir. Kane Parsons)

In his feature directorial debut, Kane Parsons brings his popular Backrooms web series to the big screen. Inspired by the well-known creepy pasta, a therapist desperately tries to find a patient who is trapped in another dimension. Starring Renate Reinsve, Chitwitel Ejiofor, Mark Duplass, and Avan Jogia, and produced by Shawn Levy and James W an, Backrooms will be released on May 29th.

Mother Mary (Dir. David Lowery)

Mother Mary is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. When she unexpectedly ends her tour after an emotional crisis, she seeks out an old friend and fashion designer, Sam. Starring Anne Hathaway, Michaela Coel, and Hunter Schafer, Mother Mary arrives in theaters on April 17th.
