Marvel hasn’t had the best track record when it comes to video games over the years. While there have been certain successes in the mobile arena, many console games have seen delays or struggles. This includes at EA, where a Black Panther game was recently canned after years of work.
But now, an old project largely forgotten has come into the light. EA’s untitled Iron Man game saw a significant leak of the game’s footage recently, which showed a range of location-hopping sequences, appearances by other Marvel superhero comic characters in cinematics, and fighting which blends elements from the Dead Space remake and Star Wars: Squadrons due to aerial and ground combat changeups reasonable to an Iron Man title.

While being developed by EA Motive since 2022, this is the first big news about the game, but as mentioned, is in the form of a leak. Previous Marvel leaks, such as with Marvel’s Wolverine, did reveal a good idea of what the final game (now being previewed and shown off) would be like, but things can always change in development. This is especially the case given that there has been no development news on EA’s Iron Man title until now, where Motive has graciously accepted the leak, and promised more information soon in social posts for the game.
Until that time, gamers should either take a peek if they can’t stand the wait, or allow Motive to show off more of the game on their own terms, likely in the near future.
