Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender has just received an interesting update. Previously announced as being a streaming exclusive to Paramount+, it now appears that it will have a limited theatrical release. From July 24 to 30, the film will be playing at the AMC Burbank Town Center 6 in Los Angeles, California and the AMC Empire 25 in Manhattan, New York. It’s been speculated that this decision was made in order for the film to get nominated for various awards. Still, fans will be sure to be flocking to the animated film by Avatar Studios, as there has been much anticipation for this project.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender is planned for release this month. The official tagline reads, “Avatar Aang, the world’s last Airbender, learns of an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction. With the help of his friends, he embarks on a global quest to find it before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve.” Lauren Montgomery is directing alongside Steve Ahn and William Mata, with co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino producing and contributing to the story. Will you be there to watch the latest installment in this series?
