Disney+ Day 2022 is scheduled for September 8, 2022, along with D23expo, September 9-11, 2022. Last year’s Disney+ Day was not very fulfilling for Disney. November 12, 2021, marked the second anniversary of the streaming service Disney+. This year Disney expects a different outcome. D23expo will be kicked off by Disney+ Day and will provide some very good new releases. Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel expect to release some good projects on that day. This year expects to be full of new releases but a much better experience.

Some of the releases expected for September 8, 2022, are the live version of Pinocchio starring Tom Hanks, a new Cars series – Cars on the Road, Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory from National Geographic, Growing Up, and Tierra incognita, a mystery/horror series from Disney+ Latino America. From Marvel, the premiere on Disney+ of Thor: Love and Thunder as well as the Star Wars series, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. A lot more news regarding upcoming series and shows will also be announced.

Meanwhile, at the parks, there will be an opportunity to experience decorations, free items, character meet-and-greets, and photo ops. Then to top it all off, will be the D23expo and its announcements of upcoming series and shows for the Disney+ streaming service and other exciting news. Disney is looking for a big weekend of exciting news and new releases. It will be interesting to see what Magic Disney has in store for the fans that weekend.
