Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is another example that video game films are starting to be… you know… good now. A huge hit with both audiences and critics, the film is one of the highest-ranked video game movies of all time. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come. However, we did not get everything when the film was released. It makes sense. They’re only going to put out what they feel will make the film more streamlined and easier to follow.

Well. the physical and streaming release of the film aims to change that. The release of the post-theater media will allow viewers access to deleted and behind the scenes clips. While access to deleted scenes is hardly unusual, it’s the behind the scenes stuff that should be interesting. Nothing is finished, so we’ll get to see actors and puppets in front of a blue screen. It will also reveal how the filmmakers used puppetry and other film techniques to bring characters and monsters to life.
