Bounty Hunter Cad Bane May Not Be Dead After All, According To A New 'Star Wars' Book

Cad Bane, everyone’s favorite blue-skinned bounty hunter, was killed in episode 7 of The Book of Boba Fett. He had a short appearance in the live-action series, facing Boba Fett in a Western-style duel that resulted in his death, or so we thought.
The new Star Wars Timelines book, published by Dorling Kindersley (DK) was released on April 25. The book features a wide set of visual timelines, graphic representations, and data on key events and characters of the Star Wars universe.

The section which mentions the showdown between Boba Fett and Cad Bane reads: "Beneath the blistering twin suns of Tatooine, Bane returns to fight Boba one-on-one. Fett's armor protects him from Bane's shots, but the Duros seems to have the advantage. Resolved to protect his territory, Boba uses the weapon of his Tusken tribe, his gaffi stick - and stabs Bane through the chest, putting the Pykes' hired gun out of action."

With the words “out of action”, it is most likely Bane survived the duel. When taking a closer look it is noticeable a red light started flashing on his chest. Unless the light is attached to a system that delivers his last words to someone, there is a chance he was saved by his equipment or by someone responding to his emergency call.
One thing that is yet to be confirmed is how Cad Bane will return if he ever makes another appearance. With all the MandoVerse projects ahead is only a matter of time before he makes a glorious return as an antagonist or maybe just a little cameo.
Cad Bane is out there, somewhere, waiting for the perfect time to strike and all the fans are expecting his return now that is clearer than ever, he is not dead.
