The journey is at an end; Euphoria has ended after three seasons. Creator Sam Levinson has confirmed it. This comes after three seasons, twenty-six episodes, and seven years on HBO. “I don’t know,” Levinson said, “As of right now, all I want to do is hang out with my wife and kids and read some Elmore Leonard and watch ‘Mrs. Miniver’ again.” Many of the cast and crew have gone on to bigger things, which almost certainly played a role in his decision to end the show. We all hope that everyone had the time of their lives making Euphoria.
According to the official byline, “Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship.” Cast members included Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, and Colman Domingo, among others. Sam Elvinson created and executive-produced the show; other Executive Producers include Ashley Levinson, Sara E. White, Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Mirit Toovi, Tmira Yardeni, Yoram Mokady and Gary Lennon. Whatever happens next, we don’t know, but fans are sure to remember Euphoria as time goes on.
