First Official Details Revealed For New 'Star Trek' Movie

“Space, the final frontier.” Some new details about the new Star Trek movie have been revealed. Unlike previous films, this new film will be focusing on an entirely new cast of characters; no returning characters or new versions of returning characters this time. It is also planned to be set “further in the future than we've been before,” possibly further than Discovery. The idea for the film is to satisfy old fans while introducing new ones to the franchise; it remains too soon to see how they’ll pull that off. This latest Star Trek movie is being written by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley of Game Night fame.
