Everyone, hide your bikes! Deadline is reporting that Jason Statham is set to star in a brand new action comedy, appropriately titled Jason Statham Stole My Bike! While plot details are currently unknown, Statham is set to play a fictionalized version of himself.

Black Bear Pictures is set to distribute the film internationally, with filming scheduled to begin in May. The script will be written by Alison Flierl, whose credits include Bojack Horseman and the television adaptation of School of Rock. Jason Statham Stole My Bike will be directed by David Leitch, who will also produce the film with frequent collaborator (and wife) Kelly McCormack for their 87North Productions.

David Leitch remains a fixture in the action movie space. Getting his start as a stunt performer and coordinator, Leitch went into directing alongside Chad Stahelski on John Wick in 2014, though he remained uncredited. Leitch would make his solo directorial debut with Atomic Blonde in 2017. Leitch has since directed Deadpool 2, the aforementioned Hobbs & Shaw, Bullet Train, and The Fall Guy. His next film, How to Rob a Bank, will be released on September 4th, 2026.
