Superman fans rejoice, the first full-length trailer for My Adventures With Superman has officially dropped ahead of its release next month. Amidst the shake-ups and cancellations that followed the WBD merger, this show was put on the chopping block but ultimately found a home at Adult Swim. Now fans have a good look at the anime-inspired cartoon that appears to bring back the wholesome, good-hearted fun the character is known for.

The trailer truly embodies the innocence at the heart of the character as Kal El begins his first day in Metropolis. He wants to live as a normal person and hide his powers, but it becomes evident that won't be the case. He is soon thrown into several scenarios where he has to save others from falling out of blimps, super-suited bad guys, and laser-firing fiends. This becomes coupled with Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen starting their internship at the Daily Planet under Lois Lane as they attempt to crack a major story. Now Clark will have to learn to balance the life he wants with the life that's been thrust upon him.

DC appears to be at a turning point in its branding as they look to scale back the darkness of the Snyderverse past into a more balanced approach in characterization for the DCU's future. If this new trailer is anything to go off of, then the future is bright for the company. Fans can catch the first two episodes of My Adventures With Superman when it releases at midnight on July 6th on Adult Swim with next-day viewing on Max
