New Spanish Promotional Images On Disney+ Suggest 'The Book Of Boba Fett' Will Have A Second Season

We’re over five months removed from the end of The Book Of Boba Fett, and given the popularity of the titular character and the arguably short season (two episodes didn’t even feature the character), speculation abounds at whether there will be a second season for the fan favorite.

An image leaked on Reddit appears to answer that question. It’s unconfirmed so far, but the image purports to reveal that the second season is “muy pronto”, which roughly translates to “coming soon.”

Again, this is not yet confirmed, but historically speaking, internet denizens have long looked to non-English speaking versions of promotional art and dialog dubbing for clues to answer the mysteries fans speculate about in their favorite franchises.

It would likely be a welcome development to have a second season of The Book of Boba Fett, as some fans felt the story was left a little incomplete. Aside from the two episodes that did not feature the character at all, he spent a good chunk of the season talking about taking over Jabba’s seat of power. But after a fight with the Pyke crime syndicate, and the character’s cryptic line to Fennec Shand about them not being cut out for this business, it left the door pretty open for the possibility of a return in a second season.

Temuera Morrison, the actor who played Boba Fett in the show, has also expressed a desire to continue playing the character. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he expressed as much and talked of Boba Fett going back to his old badass ways.

There’s been no official word from Lucasfilm on a potential second season, but Disney and Lucasfilm love to drop surprises, so perhaps fans are in for one in an upcoming convention.
