In the lead-up to the reveal of the second expansion for Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft has released a free demo for the game. That demo will see players explore Tatooine as Kay Vess, wandering Mos Eisley and beyond. Tackling some of the side content available in the game and encountering some hostile locals across the land.
Also included in the demo is one of the main missions of the game, where Kay tracks down a mercenary to join the crew. This mission will place Kay into the dangers of Tatooine, which include Tusken Raiders and the Hutt Cartel. The dangers of space can also be experienced, likely as part of the contracts available from Mos Eisley. Away from the dangers of combat, a friendly game of Kessel Sabacc can be played.

All the available content in this free demo for Star Wars Outlaws is said to be roughly three hours of playtime. Enough to perhaps get someone invested in the full game. It should be no surprise that the demo does not allow progress to carry over to the full game, should someone buy it. A lot of the story has already happened at the point the demo features, so players would miss a lot if progression could carry over.
The demo is playable on all platforms where Star Wars Outlaws is available, across PC storefronts, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. And potentially the Nintendo Switch 2, which will launch on June 5. Star Wars Outlaws has been confirmed to release on the system on September 4.
