In the words of Joey Tribbiani, “How you doin’?” Well, if you’re a superfan of Friends, then your answer is much better now, as the eight missing episodes of Joey have finally been released to the public. Friends took the world by storm and was a ratings darling during its 10-season run. This led to every major cast member becoming a household name. Still today, it’s hard not to find a project with one of the cast members attached to it. With that much excitement behind the series, it was only natural that the studio would not want to give up its cash king, which led to the ultimately doomed spinoff Joey.

Joey followed the titular character of the series and a main cast member of the prior as he ventured to Hollywood to continue his climb up the entertainment ladder. In Friends, Joey was an aspiring actor who eventually landed a recurring role in a TV soap opera playing a doctor. The spinoff featured Matt LeBlanc, Andrea Anders (Ted Lasso), as well as Jennifer Coolidge, among others. The series performed decently during the first season, but would face a sharp drop in ratings during its second season, leading to a mid-season cancellation. Now, nearly 20 years later, the missing second half of the sophomore season is now available to watch for free on YouTube through the Friends official channel.

If you have never seen an episode of Joey before this article, good news! The rest of the series is also available free to view through a playlist on the Friends channel. Don’t expect to see the likes of Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, or the rest of the cast of the series. Although none of the cast made cameos on the short-lived spinoff, Schwimmer did direct two episodes in the series. If your curiosity has been piqued, be sure to check out those lost episodes and be sure to check in with CultureSlate for all your TV and movie news.
