Marvel is slated to launch a unique animated series in February 2023, prior to the launch of Phase Five of the MCU, entitled Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur. The series features a Ms. Marvel-esque adolescent crime-fighting girl……and her dinosaur partner. The soundtrack will have some major star power behind it, with Raphael Saadiq (of Tony! Toni! Tone! fame)serving as the executive producer of the series’ main title theme song, as well as other songs and the score for the series. Actor and singer Diamond White sings the main title song for the series, as well as voicing the titular heroine, Moon Girl. Saadiq had many positive things to say about his experiences working with Disney:

"The tone and the characters of this show are inspiring. I appreciate the Disney team working with me to push such smart music for a very smart Moon Girl. I'm pleased to be giving this generation the kind of music that was gifted to me by the greats, and I’m excited for the world to hear it."

The show was announced back in 2019, but did not start getting hyped up and moving until this year. As previously mentioned, Moon Girl will be voiced by Diamond White. The show will also feature other major Hollywood talent such as Laurence Fishburne as the supervillain, The Beyonder, Allison Brie as Aftershock, and Alfre Woodard as her grandmother, Mimi  Other major actors such as Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), Cobie Smulders (The Avengers), Luis Guzman (Wednesday) and even Wesley Snipes (Blade) are currently slated to appear as guest stars in the show. The show will premier on the Disney Channel on February 10 and begin streaming on Disney+ shortly thereafter. Check out the theme song/show clip below:
