SCRIB DOON! Galactic Racer has been out for a few weeks, and Star Wars Culture LIVE hosts Ian and Marty have each put enough hours in to chat about it during this week’s episode. Overall, the reception from the guys (and the general public) has been very positive; the campaign is engaging, with just enough depth to guide players through the high-speed racing story. The multiplayer structure is somewhat randomized and exciting, and the customization options are so plentiful that building your vehicles could be a task that takes hours on its own. Not only that, it gave us the newest iconic silly character for the internet to obsess over: Biddy Blas!
But what is Star Wars Culture LIVE? Most Wednesdays, at 7:30pm Eastern, two die-hard Star Wars fans embark on a voyage of celebration and nerdiness on a positive podcast focused on the best of the Star Wars fandom. These characters are Ian Bowling (@NerdiestStepdad) and Marty Ingleston (@CoreWorldNetwork), and they’ve been the hosts of SWCL since August of 2024. Since then, the podcast has gone through numerous stages of evolution: “Top 3” favorites, dad jokes, “On This Day,” guest appearances, and many other types of segments. In this episode, the guys give their first impressions and reviews of the newest Star Wars video game release: Galactic Racer.
