Reactions To ‘Star Wars: Visions’ Volume 3 (Star Wars Culture LIVE Ep. 48)

The third season of Star Wars: Visions is here! Although its nine episodes were only released the morning of the podcast, both hosts (Ian and Marty) were able to watch most of them in time to react and discuss. They had good things to say about each of the three “sequel” episodes that tie back to Volume 1, and even better things to say about “Black,” the final episode of the new releases. The latter is fraught with psychedelic, colorful expressions of conflict and suffering, juxtaposed with a jazz soundtrack just upbeat enough to destabilize the viewer completely.
Ian was able to watch the other five episodes before the podcast as well, and he touched on them all briefly at the end of the episode.
What is Star Wars Culture LIVE? Every Wednesday, at 7pm Eastern, two die-hard Star Wars fans embark on a voyage of celebration and nerdiness on a positive podcast focused on the best of the Star Wars fandom. These characters are Ian Bowling and Marty Ingleston, and they’ve been the hosts of SWCL since August of 2024. Since then, the podcast has gone through numerous stages of evolution: “Top 3” favorites, dad jokes, “On This Day”, guest appearances, and many other types of segments. Nowadays, the “Host Fun Facts” has transformed into “Whatcha Up To?” followed by news updates via Star Wars Underworld and the main episode focus, which, this week, was Star Wars: Visions.
