Star Wars Culture LIVE has officially reached its 50th episode!
After a year and three months, our hosts celebrated this milestone by reintroducing themselves to the new (and old) audiences. Marty, an autograph connoisseur, recapped his years of conventions and celebrity meetings, finishing up with his journey from Culture Slate graphic designer to podcast host. Ian described his gradual obsession with the prequel trilogy and Star Wars Battlefront II, as well as his social media experience that led to his TikTok/Instagram following, sabacc charity organizer, and a writer/editor position at Culture Slate.
What is Star Wars Culture LIVE? Every Wednesday, at 7pm Eastern, two die-hard Star Wars fans embark on a voyage of celebration and nerdiness on a positive podcast focused on the best of the Star Wars fandom. These characters are Ian Bowling and Marty Ingleston, and they’ve been the hosts of SWCL since August of 2024. Since then, the podcast has gone through numerous stages of evolution: “Top 3” favorites, dad jokes, “On This Day”, guest appearances, and many other types of segments. On this special episode (which appeared live on Instagram for the first time!) the news recap flows directly into the host histories, and the guys look forward to another 50 episodes of sharing their Star Wars fandom.
