I mean, why not?

One of the most… interesting films to come out in the past few years was the slasher film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. The story follows Christopher Robin as he goes back to the Hundred Acre Wood with his new wife to meet his old friends, only to find out that they’ve gone feral. Killing ensues. The film was not at all well received, scoring a solid three percent on Rotten Tomatoes and five Razzies, including Worst Picture. With a sequel set to be released in a few days at the time of this writing, we’ll have to see if there are any improvements.

However, even beyond the upcoming sequel, we know several of director Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s upcoming projects, including a Peter Pan slasher, he’s also making a giant crossover film in the “Poohniverse.” According to Frake-Waterfield:

“It will be complete carnage. We are heavily influenced by Freddy Vs Jason and The Avengers. We would love to see a horror movie where the villains group together and are going after their survivors. We have some incredible set pieces in mind and some sequences I think will truly shock people.”

The film will feature Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Mad Hatter, Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell all joining forces to hunt down a group of unsuspecting and helpless victims. There is sure to be lots of blood and gore.

Hopefully, it’s at least fun.
