Summer has arrived and it’s arrived quick so we’re gonna be drowning in good ass trailers for the next few months! And we here at CultureSlate intend to be your first stop to check out the biggest and best trailers of the week! Last week was an interesting mixture of aliens, toys, psycho-sexual warfare, and predator catching TV hosts. So let’s not waste any more time! Onward with the show!

Supergirl (Dir. Craig Gillespie)

From Craig Gillespie, the director who brought you Lars and the Real Girl, I, Tonya, and Cruella, comes the next chapter in the DCU! Wanting to celebrate her 23rd birthday, Kara Zor-El and her trusty dog, Krypto, go out for a night on the town. But when a young girl named Ruthye requires Kara’s help to take revenge on the man who killed her father, she must team with her and a mercenary named Lobo to take him down. Starring Milly Alcock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, and Jason Momoa, Supergirl flies into theaters on June 26th.
