The One Sith: Legends' New Sith Order

The Year is 130 ABY, and an alternate Galaxy is once again under the control of the Sith. However, this is not the Sith order that appeared in the past. This was a new organization that went against many of the traditional doctrines and codes of the ancient Sith. This Sith Order allied with a resurgent Galactic Empire, only to betray it and rule the galaxy by themselves. Rather than two Dark Lords of the Sith, there was only one, but many followers as well. Declared heretical by older Sith holocrons, they were the One Sith, and they ruled the Galaxy in the future of the Legends continuity.
The One Sith was founded around 27 ABY by Darth Krayt, formerly the Jedi A’Sharad Hett. After receiving the Holocron of Sith Lady XoXaan, he embraced the Dark Side and sought to unite the Galaxy under one will. To that end, he rejected both Bane’s Rule of Two and the older Sith Orders’ struggles for dominance. Instead, he created a new doctrine for his order, the Rule of One, in which several lesser Sith Lords would serve under a single Dark Lord of the Sith, and be completely obedient to their will, his will.

The One Sith were considered heretical by other Sith Holocrons, because of its rejection of prior doctrines, but Krayt paid them no mind. The One Sith existed during the Yuuzhan Vong conflict and the Second Galactic Civil War, unknown to the rest of the Galaxy. During the former conflict, Vergere, a failed Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious, would meet with Krayt and have some philosophical discussions, before leaving him behind. Vergere would later serve as a mentor to Lumiya, who would form her own Sith Order based around the Rule of Two. The One Sith would use this, alongside the fall of Jedi Jacen Solo to the Dark Side, to deflect attention from themselves.
Darth Krayt was forced to reveal himself during the emergence of the Lost Tribe of the Sith, and the conflict with Abeloth. Meeting with Luke Skywalker, Krayt claimed to be a member of the Lost Tribe, and though Skywalker saw through it, he remained unaware of the One Sith. Krayt would also, around this time, enter periods of stasis to heal wounds inflicted by the Vong, only communicating with his trusted servant, the first Darth Wyyrlok, who would basically be his “voice” during these periods.

Eventually, in the year 130 ABY, the One Sith had teamed up with a reformed Galactic Empire to defeat the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and rule the Galaxy. This also meant the death of many Jedi, and the collapse of the New Jedi Order. A few days later, Darth Krayt would stage a coup against Emperor Roan Fel, and rule the Empire in the name of the One Sith. However, Roan Fel would survive and flee with several loyalists, including his Imperial Knights, while the Galactic Alliance and Jedi would soon stage their own counter attack.
This Second Imperial Civil War would serve as the backdrop for the Star Wars: Legacy comic, with the One Sith as the main bad guys. Darth Krayt’s One Sith, including the likes of Darth Talon, battled with many enemies, including main protagonist Cade Skywalker. Cade would do battle with Krayt at the end of the comic, with the fate of the galaxy hanging in the balance. The One Sith served as an interesting concept, serving as a throwback to older Sith Orders in the legends continuity, but without all the infighting. Before we return to the Unknown Regions of the internet, what do you think about the One Sith as a concept?
