5 Things We Need To See In 'Ahsoka'

Ahsoka is the next live-action Star Wars series to be released. It follows the journey of Ahsoka Tano who is on the hunt for Grand Admiral Thrawn after the events of Star Wars: Rebels. We were first introduced to live-action Ahsoka in Season 2 of The Mandalorian where she revealed Grogu’s name to the audience. We then saw her again in The Book of Boba Fett. Not much is known about the series, except that some of the Ghost crew will be in it, and will probably aid Ahsoka on her journey. While we don’t know what to expect, here are 5 things we want to see happen in Ahsoka.

5. Ahsoka’s Backstory

Plo Koon meets Ahsoka

Since Ahsoka takes place during the same time as The Mandalorian, we probably won’t see her origin story as fans are already familiar with her background. While fans know Jedi Master Plo Koon found her, and how she acquired the kyber crystals for her lightsabers, there are many areas of her life that remain unknown. What was her training like before she became Anakin’s Padawan and how did Plo Koon find her? Fans got to see a baby version of Ahsoka Tano during Tales of the Jedi, so it would be cool for Ahsoka to venture back to her homeworld as well.

4. Anakin Skywalker Flashbacks

Anakin and Ahsoka were close. So when Ahsoka finally figures out that Anakin is actually Darth Vader, it hurts both her and the fans. Hayden Christensen has been confirmed to return to the Ahsoka series, but it is unknown in what capacity. He could return as a Force ghost and help Ahsoka in her journey. It would also be cool to see him in a flashback scene, with him as a Jedi. Whatever capacity we get to see live-action Anakin Skywalker in again, it is sure to break fans' hearts.

3. Ahsoka And Sabine Finally Find Ezra Bridger

The last time fans saw Ezra Bridger, he sacrificed himself to ensure that Thrawn was removed from the planet Lothal. The final moments of Star Wars: Rebels revealed that Ahsoka and Sabine Wren were venturing out to find Ezra. It has been confirmed that Sabine Wren will be appearing in the Ahsoka series, and since Thrawn is the confirmed villain, it only makes sense for the two of them to go out and find Ezra. A live-action continuation of Rebels would give fans closure for the series.

2. Ahsoka And Thrawn Faceoff

Ahsoka name-dropped Grand Admiral Thrawn during her appearance in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. The last time we saw Thrawn, he and Ezra were pulled into hyperspace in the series finale of Rebels. Since Thrawn is most likely the villain in the series, it would make sense for Ahsoka and Thrawn to finally face off, with some help from the Ghost crew, of course. It would add another storyline while wrapping up another.

1. The Return Of Quinlan Vos

This one is definitely kind of out there, but after learning that Quinlan Vos survived Order 66 in Obi-Wan Kenobi, he could be the perfect ally, or even villain, for Ahsoka. Both were a part of the Jedi Order and then left for different reasons. They could be the perfect team if they are able to work together. Ahsoka did have a connection with Asajj Ventress, who was Quinlan’s love interest at one point. It would be cool to see this Jedi return again, and this series could be the perfect series to do that.

There are a lot of things fans want to see and don’t want to see in the Ahsoka series. I think we can all agree that we’re excited to see Hayden as Anakin again and that we don’t want to see Ahsoka die. It is still unknown when the show will release, but hopefully, Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 in London will give fans a sneak peek into the series.
