A new hero is swinging onto your TV set! The first trailer for the highly anticipated series Spider-Noir has finally arrived!
Ben Reilly is a down-on-his-luck private investigator who never met a glass of alcohol he couldn’t pick up. When his past finally catches up to him, Reilly must become the masked web-swinging vigilante known as The Spider once again to figure out what’s going on in 1930s New York. Academy Award winner Nicholas Cage plays the titular Spider-Noir, reprising his memorable role from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Joining Cage are Lamorne Morris (Fargo) as Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li (Babylon) as Cat Hardy, Karen Rodriguez (The Big Leap) as Janet, Jack Huston (Mayfair Witches) as Flint Marko, and Academy Award nominee Brandan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin) as Silvermane. Lukas Haas (Inception), Cameron Britton (Mindhunter), Michael Kostroff (The Wire), Scott MacArthur (The Mick), Amanda Shull (The Pitt), and Andrew Lewis Caldwell (Hannah Montana) co-star in recurring roles.
Spider-Noir was developed by Oren Uziel, who co-showran the series with Steve Lightfoot. Harry Bradbeer (Enola Holmes) and Nzingha Stewart (Daisy and the Six) serve as directors. Phil Lord & Chris Miller (producers of the Spider-Verse franchise) also serve as producers. Kris Bowers and Michael Dean Parsons will compose the score. Legendary visual effects company Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) will provide visual effects for the series.
Spider-Noir will swing onto MGM+ in both black-and-white and color on May 22nd and will land on Amazon Prime on May 27th.
