The final act of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is finally on the horizon, bringing one of the original Big Three to its epic conclusion. US-based fans will get an early preview of the final season, as VIZ Media recently announced that they have partnered with Fathom Entertainment, and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War - The Calamity will premiere in theaters ahead of its streaming debut in July.

This June, theaters nationwide will air the first three episodes of the anime’s final season, alongside behind-the-scenes footage and an exclusive interview with chief director Tomohisa Taguchi, series director Hikaru Murata, and Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach. The decision to bring Bleach to the big screen is a pretty significant development, making it Bleach’s first return to theaters since 2010 in Bleach: Hell Verse.
