There’s been some big Critical Role news that has come out at San Diego Comic Con. We have finally received a release date for the upcoming The Mighty Nein show, along with a first look at the series. The cast also discussed the upcoming season of The Legend of Vox Machina and what comes next.

The first trailer and official art for the upcoming series have been released. The trailer is a bit different, however, and has each member of The Mighty Nein being interrogated. It’s a good trailer for new fans and old fans alike, because we get some insight as to each of their very different personalities.

The cast revealed that the show will not be a one-to-one adaptation of their actual play series, and the first season will occasionally switch perspectives to fan-favorite NPC Essek Thelyss. The series will also have some exciting guest voice actors such as Alan Cumming, Ming Na Wen, Robbie Daymond, Tim McGraw and a whole bunch more. The animated series will have 45-minute episodes, unlike the 30-minute episodes that The Legend Of Vox Machina has. The first episode will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting November 19th.
