Rejoice, Marvel fans! We are all set to return to the magnificent and rich world of Wakanda very soon!

Marvel’s next Disney+ series, Eyes of Wakanda, will now air all four of its episodes on August 1st, according to series showrunner Todd Harris. The series centers on Noni, a former member of the Dora Milaje who joins a group of elite warriors known as the Hatut Zaraze. After encountering a mysterious villain known as The Lion, their confrontation will cause ripple effects throughout Wakanda’s history.

The highly anticipated animated series is intended to be the debut series of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eyes of Wakanda was developed by Black Panther visionary Ryan Coogler and showrun by Todd Harris. Harris, a prolific storyboard artist, has worked on nearly every MCU film since Thor: Ragnarok. His most prominent work outside the MCU includes, but is not limited to, Bullet Train, the John Wick franchise, and Sinners. The voice cast features a litany of talent, including Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, and Anika Noni Rose. Nesham Nazih will provide the show’s score, his first for Marvel since Moon Knight.

All four episodes of Eyes of Wakanda will premiere on August 1st, exclusively on Disney+.
