DC Drops 'Supergirl' Trailer

DC Studios has just released a trailer for Supergirl. This includes some footage of Milly Alcock as the titular character, alongside someone else who you might have heard about, but we’ll keep it a secret for now. The synopsis is as follows, ““Supergirl,” DC Studios’ newest feature film to hit the big screen, will be in theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures, starring Milly Alcock in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El. Craig Gillespie directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira. When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.”

Supergirl is due for a June 26 release next year. It will be the next installment of the DC Universe, following Superman, released earlier this year. Milly Alcock had a cameo in that movie as well, with her reprising her role for this follow up. With the age of the DC Universe upon us, one can only imagine what will come next on the list.
