Disney+ Drops Official 'Loki' Season Two Trailer

Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the second season of Loki on Monday, and the trailer racked up 80 million views. This marks the largest milestone for a Marvel Studios property for any trailer. The first season of Loki continues as the most-watched series on Disney+.

Fans rejoiced to see Tom Hiddleston return as their favorite God of Mischief, Loki, walking alongside cult favorite Mobius, portrayed by Owen Wilson, and the debut of O.B, Ke Huy Quan’s previously undisclosed character on the cast list. 

The first season of Loki debuted in 2021 and was a hit amongst critics and Marvel fans alike. On Monday, as the internet went abuzz with excitement, fans gave an overwhelming 90% positive response from Twitter/X opinionated conversation. 

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordeo, Rafeael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice are on the cast list. The show is helmed by several executive producers, such as Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, and Tom Hiddleston. The head writer for the second season is Eric Martin. 

The most notable face seen in the trailer is that of Jonathan Majors, who is currently in a court battle concerning charges of domestic abuse. Marvel Studios has yet to make any comment on this issue. 

The second season of Loki debuts on Disney+ on October 6.
