Disney Released A New Featurette Showcasing The IMAX Version Of 'Avatar: The Way Water'

After thirteen long years, Avatar: The Way of Water is only two weeks away. To build even more hype for the long-due sequel to the 2008 Blockbuster, Disney has released a featurette on YouTube with the Stars of the film, showcasing the stunning visuals of the IMAX version.

In the Featurette, Sam Worthington says Avatar: The Way of Water feels more like an extension of the first film rather than a rehash of the original content.

Sigourney Weaver makes her return in Avatar: The Way of Water as Kiri. Kiri is Jake and Neytiri’s adopted fourteen-year-old daughter. In the featurette, Sigourney Weaver makes it a point to deliver to the audience that Avatar: The Way of Water will also be a story told through the children as Jake and Neytiri’s family will grow and evolve throughout the Avatar films.

The featurette doesn’t spoil too many details about the story of Avatar: The Way of Water. But does reveal more about the growth of Neytiri and Jake’s family will have to take to defend Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of Water will be in released in Theaters on 16 December.
