Lately, Marvel has been relatively quiet in regards to some of its recent projects in Phase 4 of the MCU. One of those projects was Eternals, which came out towards the end of 2021. As the film received mixed reviews across the board and virtually opposite opinions from fans and critics, there have been some doubts about Marvel making a second Eternals movie; however, there appears to be an update on the status of the story:

According to the above tweet sent out by “Eternals Updates,” Don Lee’s agency has all but guaranteed that there will be a second Eternals film. The tweet speaks of a list of projects that Don Lee, aka Gilgamesh from Eternals, is working on, and included in that list is “Eternals 2.” For hopeful fans of the first installment, this is a huge deal! It confirms a major movie that will be coming out in the future (most likely Phase 5) of the MCU.

Another question: Why would Don Lee make an appearance in a sequel to a movie he just died in? Marvel and Eternals fans will need to wait to find out.
