'Fortnite' Introduces A Week Of 'Star Wars' Content Dubbed Skywalker Week

After the conclusion of Epic Games’ Fortnitemares on Monday evening, fans had no idea what to expect from the game after its newest update. To their surprise, it was announced on the Fortnite social media accounts that this week would officially be Skywalker Week, feature characters from the original trilogy, quests specific to the films, and the presence of Star Wars weapons on the map.

In the item shop, fans will find Luke, Leia, and Han in different outfits from the original trilogy. There will be back bling featuring R2-D2 and the Millenium Falcon, as well as an emote of your character riding a speeder bike as seen in Return of the Jedi while they were on Endor. The items are available separately or in two different bundle options.
New weapons can be found across the map in regular locations, in chests and vaults, and in new Star Wars chests that have been added for the week. Some of the weapons include Imperial blasters and Luke’s blue and green lightsabers.

The new quests include eliminating opponents with Star Wars-specific weapons, blocking shots with a lightsaber, defeating Darth Vader, and completing bounties from stormtroopers.
