HBO Max Renews 'Harley Quinn' For Season 4

The adult-animated series Harley Quinn has been renewed by HBO Max for its fourth season, with Sarah Peters elevated to be the showrunner and executive producer of the upcoming season.

With the third season of the critically acclaimed series heading towards its finale on September 15, the news should come as no surprise to fans of the series, which has continued to deliver a fresh take on the Batman universe as told from Quinn’s perspective.

As Billy Wee, Senior Vice President of Comedy and Animation for HBO Max, states, “Patrick Schumacker, Justin Halpern, and their incredible team of artists and writers have created something so explosively funny and original and we are thrilled to continue this journey with them and the show’s legion of fans. It has been amazing to watch the show grow and evolve this season and we could not ask for a more talented and dedicated team of collaborators.”

Season 3 saw Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) deal with their newfound relationship while facing off against Batman (Diedrich Bader), Commissioner Gordan (Christopher Meloni), and more. With things heating up as season three reaches its climax, what chaos will befall Gotham with this fourth upcoming season?
