'Kingdom Hearts IV' Releases Teaser Trailer

With its intricate storyline, stunning graphics, and well-rounded characters, the Kingdom Hearts franchise has a fanbase that welcomed the release of the teaser trailer for its latest installment. From the development footage released by the Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel, their “incredibly complex” structure of their world has been further disrupted by the light and dark manifestations, especially with the confession that the darkness had no physical form until it was “defined”. This “defined” form looks to be Sora’s greatest challenge yet, especially in the modern world with our favorite Disney characters and sidekicks.

As the trailer continued, viewers saw more than just Luxu narrating the events. Aside from Sora, viewers were welcomed by Strelitzia’s presence outside of Kingdom Hearts Union X mobile spin-off. According to MSN, her primary motive for Kingdom Hearts IV is unknown. More familiar faces seen in the trailer include Darkside, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Luxord. In the amidst of these familiar faces, the trailer introduced two new characters. Their identities have yet to be confirmed, though the second one (wearing a mask) could be Yozora. Confirmation of these characters’ identities and the roles they will play might come upon the release date. However, it is up to Sora and his friends to hold onto the light and keep a strong heart, not just for him, but for his world as a whole.
